ABSTRACT
Rudolf Bultmann is one of the most influential twentieth-century New Testament scholars and theologians. He was a pioneer in research into the New Testament and the history of earliest Christianity, in work on the basic theological questions regarding the interpretation of texts and historical understanding, and in the interpretation of the Christian faith today. This article will look primarily at Bultmann’s theology and hermeneutics.
