ABSTRACT

The views expressed in this chapter are entirely those of the author. Clearly neither we nor the publishers can possibly agree with all the comments and advice given. However, there is plenty of good food for thought here. The author makes a convincing case for the fact that some staff selection procedures will cause applicants to be rejected, even though they might be perfectly qualified through their reputation, experience and track record to fill the vacancies on offer. The only thing that these failed applicants do not possess is accredited certification.
