Often referred to (at least by ourselves) as the greatest cult lm of all time, some sort of magical alchemy has been perpetrated in the lm’s construction that allows it to transcend the limitations of the conventional format, caveats of cinematic structure, and, occasionally it seems, the very laws of time and space.
