ABSTRACT
Urban design is often thought of as the product of urban designers – of individuals or small groups of people, their thoughts, designs and actions. Another main theme has been a focus on the products of urban designers: the designs which they produce and the spaces and projects they help to construct: from public squares and plazas, to parks and streetscapes, to local spaces and smaller scale urban interventions.
