ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the key concepts discussed in the preceding chapters of this book. The book explores the foster holistic mind-brain development as the basis of high performance in any profession or human activity. Modern science has been instrumental in creating high performance in a wide range of material activities such as information and communication technology and space science. The book integrates Eastern and Western insights in a universal approach to peak performance. The importance of this synergy for high performance is increasingly being recognized. Mind-brain development has four dimensions: Brain integration, psychological development, higher consciousness, and the level of the collective consciousness in which the performer operates. The book explains the required attributes of excellence are largely not learned but are instead qualities that spontaneously unfold with higher mind-brain development. It shows that deeper mental levels, in particular the experience of Transcendental Consciousness, are the key to lasting and generalized top performance.
