ABSTRACT
In the debate over Ebola crisis management, there is often mention of the ‘lessons learnt’. But is awareness of previous mistakes really a guarantee that things are going to work out better next time? This chapter provides an analysis of the German humanitarian emergency relief in Liberia and some of the ethical dilemmas involved.
