Conclusions for Distributed Situation Awareness Theory, Measurement and Teamwork

The overall aim of this book was to explore and extend the concept of SA in collaborative environments. This involved using the foundations of a DSA theory laid by Stanton et al. (2006) to investigate the concept through a series of naturalistic case studies. A summary of the main conclusions derived from this overall programme of research is presented below, following which the implications of the findings are discussed.
