ABSTRACT
Except in very small organisations, people work in a variety of divisions or areas across the organisation. These areas may be functional such as finance, marketing, engineering and so on or more generalist such as maintenance or sales. In medium to large organisations each of these areas or divisions will be the responsibility of an executive whose title will generally reflect both the seniority of the position and the size of the overall organisation.
