Politics of Black Entry into Britain: Reflections on being a Black British Person Returning to the UK

The twin influences of life experience and scholarly work so often separated and viewed with suspicion within the academy, have nonetheless, remained inseparable in my own approach to the task of doing theology. To understand the reasons why personal experience and scholarly work are inextricably bound together one needs to be cognizant of the development of Black Liberation theology; the scholarly tradition in which my work is immersed.
