ABSTRACT

With new applications of the methodology, the complexity of service design projects has increased exponentially. This makes it even more important to ensure that everybody involved in a service design project shares a common view of the purpose and scope. To help organisations frame their service design initiatives, we developed the Design Impact Chart. The purpose of this tool is to serve as a common ground for stakeholders when defi ning the type of project to which they will apply the service design methodology, thus helping maintain the scope of the project. By using this framework, we hope that each service design initiative can reach its full potential to create great experiences for design touchpoints, services, organisations or systems.
