Taking a step back, it is useful to further understand what climate finance means. Climate finance is public sector and private sector financing channeled through
national, regional, and international governments, non-profits, and private sector institutions and individuals focusing on financial risk mitigation, return enhancement, and structural support for discrete projects related to climate change mitigation, adaptation, and resiliency projects and programs.
