ABSTRACT
Throughout most of the world, the super rich continue to expand the immense financial gap between themselves and the rest of us. In the face of massive inequality, they strive for still greater inequality, their goal being, in Marx’s words, to “accumulate, accumulate, accumulate.” Their method is to suppress the democratic struggle and liquidate the forces that strive for some modicum of economic betterment for the masses. They understand that they live off the poor, though they would rarely put it so bluntly.
