Attachment research in urban and rural Mexico: Clinical and social implications

We have two main goals in this chapter: to describe our research on intergenerational attachment relations in two contrasting ethnic and socioeconomic Mexican groups (Gojman et al., 2012), and to present our work on integrating the socioeconomic perspective of Erich Fromm1 with attachment research (Gojman et al., 2013).
