ABSTRACT

The rabbit in front of me wore green ears, a velvety green that shone gold streaked when the sun hit. The rabbit in front of that rabbit had black ears with soft pink insides and red satin stitching. Behind me were twenty-four other ‘rabbits’ with blue ears and spotted ears, also wearing tails pinned to their clothing. They were not really rabbit tails at all but rather tails that dragged along the mossy path and caught in small branches causing a tugging feeling, gentle reminders that on this walk we actually had tails. Long padded tails in lilac and pale blues with tufted felt ends.
