ABSTRACT

Art is defined by a set of resources and conscious processes by which humans tend to a certain end and will to achieve a certain result. Art is the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, producing works to be appreciated for their beauty or emotional power. The study of the arts is primarily concerned with human creativity and social life, such as languages, literature and history (as contrasted with scientific or technical subjects). Beyond art understood as a specialized activity,1 and beyond any aesthetic experience that even concerns the objects of everyday life, there is a ‘formative’ ability, which applies to the whole experience, including objects and environmental phenomena, especially in the cities and places of human habitat. Wherever there is a creation of forms there is a demonstration of art (Pareyson, 2007; Blanc, 2016).2
