ABSTRACT

In 1978, Shuntang Liu, a geologist from the Geological Bureau of Shaanxi Province, fou an almost complete human skull at a loess terrace named Tianshuigou near Jiefang Village, Dali County, Shaanxi Province (109°40E, 34°52N) in northwestern China (Figure 1).
