It seems quite clear that there is indeed a form of grief that is more troublesome than normal grief. Although most bereaved people get through the roller coaster of emotions associated with acute, or normal grief, bereavement experts now believe that about 10 to 15 percent of bereaved people experience complicated grief-grief so severe that it may require professional attention #POBOOPFUBM #POBOOP 8PSUNBO /FTTF (JO[CVSH (FSPO Solomon, 2002; Mancini, Prati, & Bonanno, 2011). The term complicated grief usually refers to reactions to loss that are debilitating or that last for a significant time.
