The evaluation forms provided in Word format can be used to record your action plans for tools, climate, and data users. It can help to learn from a real-world implementation. Dr. Margie Johnson is the Business Intelligence Coordinator at Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) in Tennessee. Dr. Johnson has successfully implemented reference guides, which the district calls data guides, and other OTCD Standards at MNPS. The feedback from meeting with central office teams has been positive, as the data guide has facilitated us creating a common language about the data. It's helping build capacity throughout the district to ensure that the data is used appropriately to make informed decisions about increasing student achievement. Dr. Johnson is also renowned for her professional development, data use climate, and other efforts to support staff in effective data use. She understands how all the pieces come together to support staff in a variety of ways.
