ABSTRACT
The recent completion of the Multilateral Trade Negotiations (MTN) finished the process which was begun in 1973, when ministers from nearly one hundred countries signed the Tokyo Declaration, a statement of itent for the sixth round of trade negotiations held under the auspices of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT).
