Why in a book called Intercultural Communication forGlobal Business is leadership addressed in the last chapter? Well, every chapter is about leadership, because communication is the key to leadership. We cannot be leaders if we cannot communicate. We can be culturally competent leaders when we understand the interconnection between culture and communication. This is what we have been discussing throughout the previous chapters. Communication is grounded in cultural and social norms, beliefs, values, attitudes, and behaviors.
