ABSTRACT

It seems that in the present time, different developments in all fields of knowledge in general and the humanities in particular, as well as the emergence of what is called interdisciplinary knowledge, have made some cognitive functions of human beings overlap with each other. In addition, they have formed intertextual relations with each other in order to acquire an existential legitimacy. It is found that in order for a critic to acquire existential legitimacy, s/he seizes authoritative images taken from other dominating disciplines in her/his culture. S/he may wear the mask of a philosopher, a politician, or an innovator. S/he may also take the image of an oracle or a prophet.
