ABSTRACT

This volume had two primary goals: 1) to provide the reader with a thorough understanding of our existing knowledge-base about workplace humor as represented across literature from a broad array of disciplines; and 2) to provide food-for-thought to researchers and practitioners who wish to pursue new avenues of research on workplace humor, and/or creatively apply what we know about humor to everyday workplace problems. It is our sincere hope that we have accomplished these goals, and that this volume will be a useful resource for both researchers and practitioners.
