ABSTRACT

I was born in 1915 and I began early-on to be a feminist, not knowing I held that label. At 9 years of age, Sunday School was a problem. I was directed to attend church as women and children were supposed to do. I was not given a choice, and I resented this duty, my first obligation as a female. (My father did not attend!)
