ABSTRACT
An interesting comparison, but Senge is not a designer. All of the professional designers (architects, landscape architects, planners, graphic designers, industrial designers, engineers) I know see design thinking as doing both – solving a problem and being creative – simultaneously to attain a desired goal. The design process is used in some way by everyone in their daily personal and professional lives – like planning to buy an automobile, looking at alternatives and costs, making the decision, and implementing the plan – they just don’t think of it as design or a problem-solving process.
