ABSTRACT

During May-July 2013, we conducted a study of MIROR-COMPO with twenty 8-year-old pupils at a primary school. There was an equal mix of boys and girls, with much of the work being done by pupils in pairs (boy/ girl) that their teacher arranged. The study took place over 6 weeks, with one session per week being delivered by Nancy Evans with the assistance of various other teaching staff at the school. Jonathan Savage acted as an observer for three of these sessions. This report is a reflective account of our experiences with MIROR-COMPO and the associated issues that emerged during the 6 weeks.
