ABSTRACT

Rodrigo Rubio-Vollert is an architect from Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá, with a master’s degree in design studies from Harvard University. He is the founder of GIV, a research group on housing and urban development based at Universidad de los Andes, where he was appointed head of the School of Architecture in 2002. Between 2007 and 2010 he was the design manager for the Trump Ocean Club in Panama, a 70-story mixed-use development delivered in 2011. He is currently the chief operating offi cer of ARPRO, a Colombia-based construction company. He is a board member of the ARPRO-ELLISDON Joint Venture, an enterprise in charge of the construction management of Bogotá’s ATRIO towers, a 260,000 square-meter offi ce complex comprising two towers, designed by Rogers, Stirk, Harbour and Partners (London).
