A Model for the Relationship Between Childhood Sexual Abuse and HIV Risk

The preceding chapters have documented that childhood sexual abuse, the long-term consequences of which are complex and may be mediated i n a number of ways, is related to a number of problems i n adult l iving. HIV risk behaviors are equally complex and multiply determined. Given the literature that suggests their association, we propose that the relationships among these constructs merit further exploration.
