In rural Mexico, students are improving their conversational English with the help of a seasoned teacher based in the Canary Islands.1 In Lagos, Nigeria, Maureen Iyasele is better managing her youth development center thanks to a course from Steve Blank, a seasoned entrepreneur in Silicon Valley. In Kathmandu, Nepal, Uma Adhikari is making strides at work, because of his learning from an expert Oracle teacher in Lisbon. MOOCs have made this possible.
