ABSTRACT
It is essential to establish positive two-way communications in programs of school, family, and community partnerships. There are countless reasons and many methods to communicate from school to home and from home to school. This chapter shows how well-designed workshops for parents help communications flow to and from more and different parents. Some workshops are designed as forums to share information with parents, gather ideas from parents, and enable parents and educators to discuss topics that are important for students’ education and school improvement.
