ABSTRACT
Wayne R. Dynes is Professor of art history at Hunter College, City University of New York. Among his books are Homolexis (New York, 1985) and Homosexuality: A Research Guide (New York, 1987). He was editor-in-chief of the two-volume Encyclopedia of Homosexuality (New York, 1990), the first work of its kind. Professor Dynes is currently completing two books: Homolexica (a sequel to Homolexis) and Myths and Fabrications Concerning Same-Sex Behavior.
