ABSTRACT
This paper is about Filipino gay men in America. First, it considers homosexual behavior and identity in Philippine society. Second, it examines gender relations and social attitudes toward homosexuality in the Philippines. Third, it looks at homosexuality among Filipinos in the United States and how it relates to the question of identity in an adopted culture. Lastly, it offers suggestions to social work practitioners for working with Filipino gay men.
