ABSTRACT
The Institute Time Clauses, Hulls, 1/10/83 was the first of the modern comprehensive forms issued by the UK insurance market for the insurance of ships, all previous issues of Institute Time Clauses, Hulls, having been designed for attachment to Lloyd’s SG form. 5 From 1/10/83 forward, therefore, we expect to find within the terms of the Institute Time Clauses, Hulls, all the conditions which are required to supplement, and in some instances to vary, the provisions of the Marine Insurance Act 1906.
