ABSTRACT
This article is one of the outcomes of my almost two-decade-long cooperation with Professor J.A. Mangan, who in his research and extensive publication projects has done more than any other scholar to make Nordic research known to a wider audience. For this the Nordic research community is truly thankful, as it is for Professor Mangan’s energetic efforts to focus the international research on genuinely global matters.
