ABSTRACT

This fifth chapter continues forward including other paradigms that are used in group therapy treatment. They, too, widen the realm of therapeutic techniques approaching the uniqueness of each individual. Not all clients will respond favorably to only one paradigm. In group therapy, the statement “one size fits all” does not exist. Some paradigms are more effective than others depending on the personality of the individual client. In continuance of the multivariate paradigms, these following hold importance in group therapy. They are Behavior Therapy, Focal Conflict Paradigm, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Basic Assumption Model, Reality Therapy, Here-and-Now Modality.
