A Management Approach to Transmedia Enterprises

This chapter points to the need to augment the broadly humanities based perspective on transmediality with the business and management studies perspectives on transmediality for tackling the growing complexity of the transmedia phenomenon. The chapter introduces the most important notions, aspects and dimensions of managing transmedia storytelling/world-building efforts. It distinguishes different levels of analysis: product level, firm level, as well as industry and society level.
