ABSTRACT
Motility can be considered a form of capital in itself, one that influences social integration. As an analytical tool, the concept of motility allows us to better describe and conceptualize the interrelation between the dynamics of spatial and social mobility. In this respect, motility provides keys for better understanding the ambivalence and limits as regards the necessity of mobility in contemporary societies.
