ABSTRACT
Damage caused by pests in wheat may be a consequence of direct feeding, transmission of virus diseases or contamination at harvest. Patterns of insecticide use, farm management practices, and changing seasonal and cropping patterns dictate the presence or absence of pests in any given year (Hoffmann et al., 2008).
