ABSTRACT
There are a number of ways of applying herbicides, including pre-plant, pre-emergence, early and late post-emergence applications of herbicides to deal with different stages of weed growth, using mixtures of herbicides or rotating different herbicides to suppress weeds (Norsworthy et al. 2012). Jhala et al. (2014) have discussed in detail the use of herbicides to control weeds in maize.
