Data regarding the public transport users were collected using a bus stop boarding and alighting count survey as well as bus passenger interviews. Data regarding the socio-economic and travel characteristics of the commuters were collected using a revealed survey. A stated preference survey was also conducted by giving five attribute scenarios to the commuters and their opinions were sought regarding their willingness to shift to a public transport system varying in terms of speed, travel time as well as comfort and convenience.
