ABSTRACT
Fifteen theological seminaries are currently related to the United Church of Christ which began in 1957 when the former Congregational-Christian Churches united with the Evangelical and Reformed Church. The former descended from the earliest New England Pilgrims and Puritans; the latter was a union of German Reformed and German Evangelical (= Lutheran/Reformed) people in the United States.
