ABSTRACT

Edition of four funerary stelae that are part of the collections of the Kingston Lacy estate in Dorset, England. This former estate of the Bankes family is now an accredited museum, managed by the British National Trust. Three epitaphs are written in Greek, whereas the text on the fourth piece is bilingual, Greek-Coptic. The stelae may have come from different sites.
