ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the imperative for a re-orientation of the theology of reconstruction and intercultural theology in the African (and global) context. The chapter begins with a brief introduction to the field of work and research entitled intercultural theology. The author next discusses the social relevance of the theology of reconstruction and finally outlines ways in which the theology of reconstruction can provide stimuli to intercultural theology.
