ABSTRACT

Site plans relate to the layout, design, and construction of buildings, and structures on a site to protect the public's interest in safety, economy, and from the adverse consequences of site development. Zoning approvals that generally may require site plans include rezoning applications, variances, special exceptions, conditional use permits, design and appearance certificates, permits to develop along specific boulevards and streets identified in developers zoning ordinance, environmental permits, and preannexation zoning agreements. Site analysis maps include map showing location of problems and opportunities relating to development and changes to the natural ecology of the site and a description of each such problem and opportunity on the site. Coverage of site is expressed by various ratios of net site area covered by various types of surfaces. Examine the basement floor plans of multifamily buildings to find extra dwelling units near laundry/furnace service areas as manager's apartment on site plan.
