ABSTRACT
Pandit Hemchandra Goswami published three volumes of Typical Selection from Assamese Literature in the 1920s. Typical Selections left behind an extraordinary impact on the process of canonisation of Assamese literary history and became integral in defining modern Assamese literary sensibilities.
