Behavior of extended endplate connections between RHS column and H beam using slip-critical blind bolts

This paper presents an experimental investigation on beam-to-column blind bolted endplate connections using blind bolts. Two full-scale specimens were tested under quasi-static cyclic loading. Two kinds of failure modes were observed in the test. The connections with blind bolts demonstrated good performance and were suitable for fabricated construction in seismic design.
