ABSTRACT

It is fascinating that so much is written about detox diets and detox cleanses and so little eort is devoted to detoxing the environment. Considering that the primary purpose of our existence is reproduction, it is clear that much more attention should be given to the role of the environment on the reproductive process (1). Toxic and environmental hazards can aect reproduction at any point in the process. ey can aect fertility, conception, pregnancy, and/or delivery. And, of course, they can aect the male and the female (2).
