ABSTRACT

This chapter shows how the artificial intelligence will influence the spread of strategies in the game playing. Generally, agents are over-simplified in the traditional agent-model approaches, where the personal or social factors are overlooked. To better understand the collective behaviors of real social systems, the modeling about the agents and system should be established in a more realistic way. The chapter summarizes some works which pay attention on the individual intelligence and its application in the game playing. The competition among strategies which bring different benefits for the players in real social systems is of both scientific and practical interest. More personal or social factors need to consider, thus to incorporate the due intelligence of real agents. A fuzzy system can be implemented to dynamically adapt the inertia weight of the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. The fuzzy adaptive PSO has been verified to be a promising optimization method, which is especially useful for optimization problems with a dynamic environment.
