ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts covered in the preceding chapters of this book. The book suggests that the state of working people in the UK has been declining for a very long time – a decline that has been matched by an equally long-term neglect on the part of much of the left. It explores the situation with respect to gun control in the United States offers one case in point. The chapter discusses the elements of an effective left strategy against the looming disasters related to climate change, and many others. It focuses on justice for youth. With the appointment of two Supreme Court justices, the assault against the best of American institutions seems likely to continue through the lifetimes of the editors, and probably longer.
