ABSTRACT
In the last years, a lot of new research results regarding cytotoxic, antiproliferative, and anticancer properties of EOs have been published. This treatise is a meta-analysis of these test results, focusing on in vitro efficacy against several cancer cell lines. In addition, the most important methods to examine the cytotoxic activity are presented.
