ABSTRACT
The chapter presents the results on phytocoenotic confinement, productivity, and resources of Vaccinium uliginosum L. in taiga regions of Russia. It also marks irregular character of distribution of bilberry fruits relative density within the territory of Russia, and as on fructification fluctuation, blueberry areas decrease, and increase of anthropogenic press. The possibility of Vaccinium angustifolium Ait. cultivation on cutover peatlands in southern taiga zone of Kirov region (Volga-Vyatka region of Russia) is demonstrated. Winter hardness and productivity parameters of the species were defined.
